Donna,
I am still trying to connect and so far not much luck. However I got a census from 1860,Clark Co. Indiana and found a Michael Creamer 34, France, in it. He is listed as being married to Sarah 29 with the following childern.
William 8
Henry 6
Frances 4
Samnel 1

That would make his birth date about 1826.
My GreatGrandfather was named Frances so I am trying to connect this Michael to him. The census says that Michael was from France. My Aunt, who passed away this past Dec. had said the Frances's father was from Alasce-Lorraine, a part of Germany. That little piece of ground has been passed back and forth between France and Germany for years ! In fact ,that area is where Joan of Ark had her vision and led the French against the Kaiser of Germany to free France.
My question for you is , do you have a Michael anywhere in your tree? Perhaps as a brother of William ? It is just too strange that your Creamer's and mine come from the same area in Indiana without being connected. Do you know from what country your Creamers came from ?
