William A. Creamer
William A. Creamer, son of Moses Creamer, was born 1825 KY. He is found in the 1860 census, Lamar Twp, Barton Co., MO, with wife, Pheba, and children: Andrew J. and John S. He is listed as a farmer and John Rose is listed in this househould as farm labor. William apparently moved to MO from Boone CO.,IN by 1859, according to Benjamin's age (another child).
In the 1870 census, William and Pheba are listed in the Union Twp. Pheba is listed as being 51, from TN, making her born ca 1819. This is probably incorrect. The 1880 census lists her as 57, born ca 1823 TN. This is probably more correct. She is believed to have been a Gilmore or Gallymore. This is not proven though. William A. Creamer was married before he was married to Pheba. He was married to Mary Jane Burk(e) in Boone Co., IN.,2 May 1846. John S. and Benjamin would be full brothers and Andrew J. and William Harrison would be full brothers. William Harrison is listed in the 1870 census as well. He was born 14 Mar 1865, in Lamar, Barton Co., MO. According to the census of 1850, Boone Co., IN, William and Mary had a dau Lucinda (b 1849 IN).
William Creamer had died 7 May 1876. Pheba (Phebe) is in Barton City Twp with sons: Andrew J. and Wm H. Creamer. A James Pennington, boarder, is listed in household and working as farm labor. Pheobe was b. 10 Aug 1828 and d. 26 Jan 1911. Both William and Pheobe are buried in the Bluff Cem., Barton Co., MO. Children of William Creamer:
