Peter & William CREEGER 1820 Hamilton Co OH census

I am seeking the parents/family of John Cregar, born ~1801, possibly in Springfield Twp, Hamilton Co., OH. I am trying to connect John to Peter and William Creeger found in the 1820 Hamilton Co. census. I'm not worried about the spelling as there are many variations throughout the records for this same family including Cregar, Creager, Creeger, Criger, Creigher, Crager, Cragan, Cregar, Creagor, etc.

John Cregar was born ~1801, died before July 1859 in Washington, Daviess Co., IN. He married Mary Ann Vandyke in Hamilton Co., OH in 1835--this was probably not his first marriage.

Peter Creagar was born in May 1753, died 9 Aug 1825 and is buried in Springfield, OH. Peter was married to Elizabeth who died 28 Apr 1831 (born in March 1765). Elizabeth Cregar is found in the 1830 Hamilton Co. census alone, age 60-70, which fits the gravestone information.

Peter and Elizabeth MAY have been parents of Peter, John and Aron Creagar/Cregar, all found in the 1830-1850 Hamilton Co. censuses in Springfield at the right ages. (This is pure speculation on my part). Also, Peter and William Creeger in the 1820 census MAY have been brothers. More wild speculation! ;-)

Any information or clues on this line would be greatly appreciated!
