My family is from Mason County and Bracken County Kentucky. I have tried many times to get a link between Ross and Craycraft because my grandfather who was born @1905 whose name was Rufus Bolden Wilson, had a Father named John James Wilson who was married to Mary Isabel Ross. This Mary Isabel Ross supposedly was the sister of Symantha Ross who married a Cracraft and I am trying to find information out about John James Wilson (Willson). They were sharecroppers from what my father has told me.My father's name was Wm. R. Wilson and he was an only child. Many of my father's family is buried in Shannon Cemetery.I am going there in April to look up grave sites. My grandfather Rufus was born in Sardis Kentucky. If anyone has any information about this John James Wilson, I would greatly appreciate it.A woman named Bouse said she saw a census report from Robertson County Ky @ 1880 that stated that a James Richard Wilson who was married to a Katherine Holton had children named John J. Balis, Iva, etc. I cannot find any information regarding this. She also stated that James Richard's father was a Miles Wilson?I found a census report which states that a Miles Wilson is with his sons John J and William H Wilson. The ross/craycraft connection is what I really need.Symantha Ross and her sister married Craycrafts and Mary Isabel married my great grandfather, John James, and I would love to know if anyone has come across her family, her father/mother, etc.If anyone has any information on this, my e-mail address is [email protected] very much.
