Ron, appreciate the info you posted. It is odd that my Grandfather, Andrew Jackson Crawley is named after a President. I didn't know there was a Theodore Roosevelt Crawley. My G/Grandfather was Albert and G/Grandmother was Mary Louisa. I wonder if the could be related to Amos. Albert and Louise are listed in the 1860 and 1870 Mcdowell county census. Mcdowell county, NC is located next to Burke county. If you would reply to my email directly maybe we could compare some more notes.
