Peter Crawbuck c1760-1830, New York

I have been trying to connect all Crawbucks. It came down in my family that the Crawbucks came from Holland sometime in the 1600's. So far it seems that all the Crawbucks that I have found decended from one family- a family that I find in New York City in the Late 1700's.
The first record I have for any Crawbuck is a 1789 New York City Directory that lists a Widow Crawbuck living on Bayard Lane. I believe this is Peter's Mother Elizabeth. A probable brother of Peter is Godfrey who died in 1809. William is another possible brother and died prior to Godfry. Both Willam and Godfrey were married and I believe both had children, but so far I have been unable to connect later Crawbucks to their lines. Peter Crawbuck's proven children include Michael born c1794 (given as Peter's oldest son in NYC "Common Council Minutes"), John D c1797-1860 who was my ggg grandfather, and Peter. Other possible children include a William and a Stephen. I am looking for any informtion or connection to these Crawbucks or any Crawbucks and will be glad to share- Thanks- Jim M
