Does anyone here have further information on this family of Welsh Cravens? As far as I know, the family came from Bangor Flintshire North Wales and settled in Landesborough Hullett in Huron County Ontario. RICHARD CRAVEN – ANN CRAVEN - Ann: born 1772 Salop St. Martin - Richard: born 1767, Bangor, Flintshire, North Wales - had 8 sons and one daughter -left Wrexham Wales and arrived in Canada in May 1853 - traveled with sons William an Joseph (and their families) to Canada aboard the Ship Blanche about1853 JOSEPH CRAVEN – MARY CRAVEN -Joseph: born 1815, Bangor, Flintshire, North Wales -left Wrexham Wales and arrived in Canada in May 1853 --wife: Mary Craven born 1816 --son: Henry Craven born 1833 WILLIAM CRAVEN – MARY ANN TAYLOR -left Wrexham Wales and arrived in Canada in May 1853 Mary Ann Taylor -born: 1819, London, Middlesex, England -died: June 19 1879, Londesborough Ontario -parents: Elizabeth Taylor born 1781 and Mr Taylor -siblings: 1 sister, 1 brother William Craven -born: October 18 1801, Bangor, Flintshire, North Wales -died: September 5 1874, Londesborough Ontario -parents: Ann (born 1772) and Richard Craven (born 1767) -siblings: 7 brothers, 1 sister - Joseph CHILDREN Elizabeth Eleanor Craven (eldest), William Edgar Craven, Charlotte Craven, Richard Charles Craven, Anne Roden Craven, Susanna Mary Craven, James Joseph Craven, Fanny Maria Craven, Edith Lucy, Gertrude Rebecca, Roderick Craven (youngest) *Note that only Roderick was born in Ontario, the rest were born in Bangor Wales. *Note that James Joseph Craven, Fanny Maria Craven, Edith Lucy, Gertrude Rebecca all died before the family arrived in Canada.
