Has there ever been found a solid connection between William Craven and

his wife Beatrix Hunter to the John Craven b: 1710?

The information I have is from William (1517) and Beatrix to their son Henry (1543) and Margaret Sherwood, to their son Robert (1574) and Mary Shearwood, to their son Thomas (1611) and Ann Proctor, to their son William (1638) and Margaret Clapham, to their son John (1673)and Maria Rebecca Green, to their son John (1708-1709) who married Mary Hicks(Hickes)?

It appears this family stayed in England.

If John Craven (1710) is from William (1517), where do I find the connection? If they are not connected, is there any record of who the wife of John (1710) was?

Can you tell I'm confused?
