I have the Waters book on the Cranmer family in England. Tradition says that we (through William) came from the family branch of the Archdeacon, but unless I'm missing something, I don't think so. But there is another branch that seems to fit. I have located a William in England but I am looking for some confirmation from North America to confirm that is our grandfater William. I'd really like to hear some more about the family tree referenced in the previous message.
