I've also posted on the Crandall Board.
All, I was helping my Mom with her garage sale accumulation and stumbled upon something interesting. It's a journal written in 1903-04 by a 14 year old girl named Hattie Rhoda Crandell (I think, my mom who can't see well wrote that down from the book - it's possible the spellings are a little different). It's kind of neat- little verses, stories, and also personal messages written to her by her friends. Anyway, my mom acquired it at a garage sale in the Denver, Colorado area within the past 10 years and still has it.
Does anyone out there know a Hattie Rhoda Crandell that was probably born around 1889-90? If so, give me an email so I can return it to Hattie's family.
