I am looking for the family of John T. and Ann E. CRANDELL. I believe they were married in KY and at some point came to MO. They adopted an indian girl by the name of Laura Ann b. 1868. I am told that she was 4 years old when she was adopted and her name had been RICKER OR RICHARDS before she was adopted. Laura married James N. Clark on 2-14-1884 in Van Buren, Carter Co. MO, after James died she married a Mr. Snider. She is buried at the Clark Cemetery in Shannon Co. MO.
