Crandall's in Sonora/gold country-1860's
I am looking for any info I can get on the Crandall's who frequented/ built businesses in the gold country of California in the 1850-1920 era. I would especially like to find out more about Lawrence Crandall, manager of the sash & door company in Standard, CA as well as his grandfather, a noted stage driver and partner of the Crandall-Hubbard Stage Line (later sold to Wells-Fargo to provide them a link to the gold country in the Sutter's Creek area). Also of interest is the source of the name for Crandall Peak above Sonora, CA. Thank you in advance for any information. I am led to belieeve that I am a great nephew of Lawrence.John Crandall, Reno, NV
