Found an old obit in a book
Oliver F Crandall born July 5 1862 died July 17 1888 aged 26 years 12 days. He married Ida Meese on November 9 1883. He left his wife one child, father and mother, nine brothers and sisters. (no Names) His little babe preceded him to the spirit land a little more than a year ago. His wife has lost a good husband and the child a good father.
