Hi Bill!
Wow! What a terrific connection!! Yes, Iam connected to Herbert Charles Crandall. Fannie Ruth was my Aunt, and my father's sister! My dad was Hoyt L. Prindle, son of Charles and Frances Helen Hoyt Prindle of Santa Maria, CA. There are also a load of the same line of Prindle's in Texas. It is the George David Prindle branch. Please tell me all you can about any of this.
The information on Alsia O. Crandall came from Lawrence E. Prindle's pension papers. She was at Amelia and Lawrence's wedding in Gaines, and I suspected she might be kin, and when I found out her name had been Jones, I thought she could be a sister to Amelia! Amelia S. Jones married Lawrence in Gaines,Kent Co. MI. May 23, 1852. I have the Prindle line forward down to my grand children. I thought Amelia's maiden name was "Platt" and I do know that her father's name was "Robert R. Jones. He was born in 1802, and died Dec. 21, 1877. I have some on him, but do not know exactly what cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI. he is buried in. He had a son that he and Amelia had named Henry R. Jones. He died May 20, 1853, at 11mos.old, and is buried in Blain Cemet. in Gaines. How does the Comstockname fit? I look forward to working with you on this,Leah Prindle Veatch
