Terrence A. Craine
Of 1329 4th Ave., Juniata, died at his home at 6 a.m. today after an extended illness.He was born April 27, 1888, in Antis Township, a son of John L. and Alice (Brady) Craine, and in 1912 married Zenia M. Lockett, who died Oct. 10, 1958.Surviving are three children, Mrs. Alice Shoemaker of Juniata, Mrs. Phyllis Spangle of Buffalo, N. Y. and Terrence Jr. of the city; one granddaughter and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Burns of Juniata and Mrs. Bess Hainley of Grandview.A son, John, was killedin Belgium in World War II and two brothers, Howard and Edwin, also preceded him in death.Mr. Craine was of the Methodist faith and retired in February 1954 as a brakeman on the Pennsylvania Railroad after more than 40 years of service.He was a member of the B. of R. T.Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
