Absalom C. Craine
At 9:30 o’clock last Friday evening Absalom C. Craine, an aged and respected citizen of Antis township, Blair county, died at his home, aged 74 years, 7 months and 5 days. About one year ago he sustained a stroke of paralysis from which he never recovered. All his life was passed in Blair county and he was an unassuming and quiet citizen. His wife and seven children survive him. The children are Mrs. Waldsmith and Mrs. C. Longabaugh, both residing in Huntingdon county; Mrs. A. J. Durbin, of Altoona; Miss Alice Craine, residing at the old homestead; William and John, also residing there, and Seth, of Altoona. The funeral will take place at 2 o’clock this afternoon. Services will be held at the home. Interment in Asbury cemetery.
