I'm related to the Crains in Milton, Santa Rosa FL and Okaloosa Co. FL Crains. My ggggreatgrandfather William Crain 1790 somewhere in GA-1860 Santa Rosa FL. m. Frances Grimes b. 1811 somewhere in TN. These dates per census. They m. 1829 Wilcox AL, had a couple kids, moved to Covenington AL, had some kids and moved to Milton. I have not been able to get pass this part.
I had my mtDNA done but don't know how to figure it out. I'm a T2.
I don't know any male Crains in FL. I haven't lived there in years. I'd be willing to help pay for their test if I could find one.
