Yes, I did have the DNA test and fit into Group 5, so that wouldn't be me. My ancestor was the James Crain shown in Group 5 at the Crain DNA website. Closet skeleton: His mother, Mary Jane "Jennie" Crane, didn't marry, and her children took her surname. James seemed to use Crane and Crain at different times; a lot of his descendants kept the Crain spelling. (I've reported to several people at the Crain DNA website that the link to James at GenCircles is broken.) Group 5 also matches "Hood Lineage I":
