Hi Judy,

Dillehay was and is a common name in Smith County, which is "next door" to the county in which I live. Sarah Dillehay was born May 12, 1858 to Thomas Dillehay and Nancy Goad (or Goodner). Sarah married Overton Craighead (my line) of Smith county and they had 5 children, Walter Lawson, Rufus, Notie, Lucie, and Floyd. Sarah died July 22, 1932 and is buried with her husband at Lankford Cemetery in Defeated, Smith Co., TN.
