Peter, thank you very much for replying to my posted message. It really becomes so difficult to trace women, as yes, Elizabeth is a vry common name, and I have no idea who her parents might have been. But I believe that she had to be either from New York or New Jersey. If you have any suggestions about other lines of Craig to explore, I'd be delighted to hear about them. She is the only Craig (who married Benjamin Benson, Jr.) that I am trying to identify, so I am unfamiliar with any Craig lines.
