Some Craig-Poyner notes

Ellender Craig was a widow paying taxes in StTh 1792 in Orange Co. NC. Could this be the mother of the Ellender Craig who married James Poyner?

In the 1790 Orange Co. NC Census Hillsborough District St. Thomas District
were Samuel Craig, Elinor Craig, John Craig, James Craig Sr.
in St. Mary's District is Jonathan Craig.

There was a Thomas Craig signing the petition to form Stewart Co. TN in 1803.
Also a James Craig.

Stewart Co. TN Minute Book 1804-1807--

James Craig & Susanna Cottingin
likely Cottingham).

same book 10-1-1805
William Craig & James Poyner were bondsmen for the marriage of William Craig & Jain McCannon.

Stewart Co. TN Deed Book E Page 425
Deed 124 acres on East fork of Wells'Creek from Thomas Craig to Wm. Tubbs on 3-14-1817, Witness James Poyner.

In 1820 in the neighboring county of Humphreys there is a Thomas Craig, Sr.,
Thomas Craig, 2 listings of James Craig, and Jone Craig.

In 1820 in Stewart Co. is A. Craig, and 2 listings of James Craig.

I am looking for the parents of my Thomas Craig b. 1806 TN d. abt. 1854 Benton Co. TN.
