Hello Sharon

We have a long list of James Craib's in our family tree dating back to 1711 when George Craib was born to Alexander Craib who married Margaret Gray.

George Craib married Elspet Thain 18th December 1788 in Grange Banff Scotland. George Craib died 19th January 1788. Elspet was born 1715 and died 18th December 1788. Both these people are buried in a single grave, with headstone, in the Davoc of Grange Kirkyard not far from Keith in Scotland. We visited the grave site July 2010, laid a wreath, and took photos.

Four generations on James Craib Married Magdalene Paterson 22nd December 1833 at Rathven Banff Scotland and they had eight children that we know of. One of these children, Barbara Craib married William Bremner on the 6th December 1856 in Banfshire Scotland. The Bremners had four girls that we know of.

Hope this may be helpfull. Let me know if you need more information on these people. We may be able to exchange old documents and Old family photos.
