EDGAR LINDSEY was born in Decatur County, Iowa, May 2l, l88l, died at the home of A.T. WELDON in Long Creek Township, Oct. 9, l903, aged 22 years, 4 months and l8 days.
The deceased was a son of MRS. N. CRAIGO, of Leon, and for the past nine years had made his home with MR. WELDON, where he was considered as a member of the family. Several weeks ago he was stricken with typhoid malaria, and although every attention was given him he passed away on Friday night.
He was an industrious and upright young man, who had won the respect of all who knew him by his manly life.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Leon M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. I.N. Woodward, interment being in the Leon Cemetery.
