Helen, I dont know if Robert Craighead had any Cherokee blood in him. I do not know of a Chief Craighead.Robert married Susan Smith and I have documentation that she was from the South Carolina Cherokee Nation. Also have documentation from the Eastern Cherokee Nation on my family's bloodline.I do not know Susan's parents names. I am waiting on further documentation to verify who Henry M. Smith is. I believe him to be her father but am not sure at this time.
