I am researching the Cragg family of Westborough, Lincolshire, UK. Two sons of Joseph Cragg (1809 - 1870) were William (b 1838) and Richard (b 1851) but they disappear from the UK record and are not in the 1881 Census. However two names with the correct birthdates appear from the US census of 1880, living as farmers and with families in the area of Steuben County, NY. Does anyone know anything about them? I will share the rest of my Cragg researches happily. Another brother was Zebedee Cragg who was a great grandfather of mine.
