Definitely sounds interesting. I know that William (d. 1793 Nottoway Co., VA) had a son, David. Have not been able to find out much about him. He would have to been born in 1730's or early 40's.

What can you tell me about your David that came to Greene Co., TN from Amelia Co., VA?

My John, bn. in Virginia, went to SC at abt. age 13. Lived in GA and SC, then migrated to Hart Co., KY from South Carolina abt. 1796. For a short time was apparently in TN as a daughter was bn. there abt. 1811. Was in Hart Co., KY by 1819.

Have read an article relating oral family history, that my John had relatives (a brother, I believe, that lived on the Duck River. Don't know how much faith to put on it, since this source has had errors in the past.

Tell me more!!!!!!
