Hi, I am a Craddock living in Yorkshire and along with my wife are too trying to find the origin of our name. All I've found out at the moment is that it originates from Wales (Caradoc) and that we were chased out of Wales by the Vikings up to Wensleydale. My father has a family bible with some of our ancestors going back sometime and he has managed to find a house that belonged to his great granddad somewhere near Penrith.
