Dear Hannah
Mary Elizabeth Cracknell was my maternal grandmother. My mother was very close to her and kept up family links with Banham. She was thus able to give me information about James amd Mary Jane ( nee Plumpton ). James was of small stature - I have a photo showing Mary Jane towering over him - and she used to go into the fields with him at harvest time to make sure he completede his full quota of work ! George ( James George ) was killed at the Battle of the Somme in 1916 and his war medals were passed on to me when my grandmother died. Robert was a coachman who also died young I believe. Hope this is of use to you. If you want further inforamation regarding dates and other anedotal information my mother passed on to me, it would be no problem to supply them.
Regards Loyd Woolner
