I just came across your enquiry. Walter W Cracknell was also born in Hartismere, in 1912, so I guess he is related to yours. He and his brother Albert came to live in Chelsworth in the 1930s. Walter and Louisa lived in our house here and raised half a dozen children. Both are now dead as is Albert, but Albert's widow Freda is alive and has a great fund of memories.
