I'm looking for the parents of Abner Crabtree (1855-1928) of Jackson & Clay County, Tennessee. The 1870 Clay County, Tennessee census shows Abner living with Harrison Osgathorpe as a 16 year old. There's no indication his parents were still around.
Could he be the son of Abner (1822-1863), the son of William (1791-1840)?
I'd appreciate any help.
