In 1940, my mother received a questionaire to be filled out inre her ancestry. The purpose was to have been a book on the whole family. She never heard anything more about it. A Cozad from CA with whom I correspond told me that she saw a new Cozad/Cossart book in the LA Public Library main downtown branch. It was written by Lulu Cozad Adams and Landon Cozad. Does anyone know of this?
Also, when I was in TX I came across a book in the Corpus library about Huguenot name origins and they said that the Cossart name was orig. German or Austrian and had come from the name Gossart. I didn't write down the name of the book, unfortunately. Has anyone else seen this?
Judith
