Looking for parents, siblings, descendants of Nelson E. Cazad, b. 1827 Preston County, VA (WV), d. 7 May 1888 in Cabell County, WV. Married three times: 1-Cecilia Oaks, abt 1850 but before 1860, where unknown; 2-Mary Jane Chase, 18 Aug 1860 Boyd County, KY, and ; 3-Margaret Frances McWhorter, 2 Jun 1870 WV. Had at least one child, Alice Ann with Oaks, unknown with Chase and five with McWhorter (James, John, Janetta, Robert and Alta). Served in 14th Kentucky Infantry from 1862 to 1865 in Civil War.
He consistently listed parents as John and Elizabeth on marriage applications. Have descendancy through McWhorter and thru Alice Ann only.
