I just ran into the Cozart information. I think that my husbands family is from the William A. Cozart line. THe daughter Nancy who marries William Williamson on December 10, 1828. I think that they are the same as the William Williamson and Nancy who are in White County, Tennessee in 1850 and 1860. THeir children are Elisha C. born in 1829; William J. born in 1831; Lydia Caroline born in 1833; and Rachel J. born in 1836.

In 1870 I have not located William and Nancy however, they may be in Illinois. Lydia Caroline marries John A. Green in White County and is in Jefferson County, Illinois in 1870. I have not found Elisha C. in 1870 although he was supposed to have been in Illinois.

In 1880 the group I discussed from 1870 is in Kaufman County, Texas. Later part of this same group moves to Comanche County, Texas.

I would really like to know more about the Cozarts.

Thanks,

Regena
