My great, great, great Grandmother was Catharine Cozard born Nov. 22, 1801. I don't know her parent's names or where she was born but she married William Houghland on April 25, 1794. Their daughter Emeline Houghland, born Nov 13, 1829 married Samuel Lively on April 5, 1855. Their daugther, Hattie Manerva Lively (Clark) was born Dec 31, 1868 in Athens County, Ohio. Catharine Cozard's ancestors were of French Huguenot stock who left France during the persecution. They fled first to England and from there came to America in 1740.
