My great, great, great grandmother was Catherine Cozard who was born Nov 22, 1801. I don't know her parent's names or where she was born but she married William Houghland (b. April 25, 1794 in Sparta, PA). They were married Sept 17, 1817 (I believe in either PA or OH). She was of French Huguenot stock and her ancestors left France during the persecution and fled to England and from there came to America in 1740. William and Catharine's daughter, Emeline Houghland (b.Nov 13, 1829), married Samuel Lively on April 5, 1855 and while they were living in Athens Co., OH my great grandmother, Hattie Manerva Lively was born. I don't know if there is any connection between our two families but I did note that the spelling was the same and your relatives came from Ohio, so I thought I would send you what I have so that you can see if there is any connection. Joyce Nickless
