I don't have any information about that. However, now that you have mentioned it, I will watch for an answer as I look for the Cozzarts. I have seen the name spelled with s instead of z and with ss or zz. So, it easily could have been spelled a number of ways. When people came to America, a lot of original spellings changed. Keep watching this forum and maybe someone will answer that for us.
