From L.D.S. #0554656 Person Co. NC marriages years 1851-1966.
First part of the micofilm has the same marriage bonds as listed in Katherine K. Kendall's book "Person Co. NC Marriages 1792-1868". I have a copy if you wish a name looked up. I did make xerox copies of the Cozart family members marriage records. I have not check to see if the above author correctly recorded the dates.
Second part of film had what they call in NC "Marriage Registry" and it was a disappointment, it did not give a great deal of information about the parties married. These are the few that caught my eye.
CLAYTON, FRANCES, daughter of Daniel & Sallie married 20 Dec 1871 to James S. Rhew, son of Ruffin & Susan Rhew.
CLAYTON, MARY S., daughter of Green L. & Susan Clayton married on 8 Jan 1871 to Zachariah Oakley, son of Moses S. & Elizabeth.
COZART, GROVES age 19 years married 11 Nov 1876 to Lucretia Roberts.
COZART, MARGARET, daughter of James & Josiah Moody (sic) married 20 Nov 1869 to J.B. Brown, son of J. & Lucinda Brown.
COZART, WILLIAM T. 24 years married 30 Jan 1879 to Elizabeth Oakley, age 19 years.
COZART, Z.T. 35 years married 4 Apr 1883 to S.J. Blalock age 20 years.
MEADOWS, SARAH, daughter of Squire & Mary, married on 18 Jan 1871 to E.B. Reade, son of W.F. & Susan C. Reade.
OAKLEY, YARBORO C., son of Thomas & Rachel married 8 Oct 1871 to Harriet Sweaney, daughter of H.C. & Mariah
