my great great grandfather was also called Thomas Coyne and was born c.1829-33 - we think in County Roscommon. He had an elder brother called Patrick born c.1817-21. They both moved separately to the North of England around the time of the Famine. Their father was also a Thomas Coyne and he was from Elphin in Co. Roscommon. I have not been able to trace his marriage so I don't have a name for his wife.
