Here is the info I have on my Coyne family:
County Galloway
Great-grandfather - Martin
Grandfather - Patrick Peter Coyne, b Mar. 12, 1882/3-d Dec. 7, 1951-age 70, married Norah Murray-Coyne b 1877-d Nov. 28, 1951-age 75. Their children were John b 1903, Peter b 1904-d Dec. 14, 1914-age 10, Martin b 1907, Mary Agnes b 1910 and Margaret b 1912-d Oct. 2, 1988-age 76.
Patrick was born in Ireland and came to the United States in 1900 through Philadelphia from Ulster, Ireland. Nora (Hanorah) was born in Ireland and came to the United States in 1893.
According to Patrick’s Draft Registration Card, he lived at 327 W. 13th Avenue, Homestead, PA in 1918. According to the 1930 census, they moved with their children to 104 West 11th Avenue, Homestead, PA. The date they moved is unknown at this time.
The registration card gives the 13th Avenue address with Nora’s name as his wife. He worked at Carnegie Steel Co., Homestead Steel Works in Munhall, PA. He was 35/36 years old when he registered on September 12, 1918. He was medium height and slim build. He had blue eyes and brown hair.
Patrick, Nora (Hanorah), Peter, Margaret and her husband, and John and Thomas (Martin’s sons), are buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Munhall, PA.
