I can give you the information that I have. Unfortunately the information I have is sparse. There are only 3 surviving children left of John and Mae's. None of them have very good memories (it seems alzheimer's runs in the family. One sister has died of it already).
John and Mae resided in Didsbury, AB where they raised 8 children on a farm. John passed away in 1954 and Mae passed away (after a long illness) in 1974. Mae was born in Quebec.
I can try to find out more information through the cemetary records. A resource I was not familar to until recently. I assumed that kind of information was not available, but it is, so I should know more in a couple of days.
Both Mae and John are buried in the Didsbury cemetary. Grave's 3, 4 section C row 6.
