Since you have net capability, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of how to start by searching the genealogy sites. Just use a search engine and search for "genealogy" and you'll find hundreds of contacts. Visit your library or the closest Family History Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and ask for help there. They are usually very helpful. You should also get a family tree software program to help keep the information organized. And don't forget your family. Get everybody talking about the family and use a small tape recorder if you can to get everything down. Enough advice! Starting at your age is an advantage, since you should have plenty of older relatives to bug about their families.
