I have a Martin Coyne in my family who closely fits your description. He was born June, 1857, in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. Father: John Coyne, b.1819, d.1864 in Castlerea. Mother: Mary Roarke, b. 1818, in Castlerea, d. 1875 in Avon, NY. Martin immigrated to Boston, April 3, 1871 on S.S. Siberia, with mother and siblings, John, Sarah, Margaret, Thomas and Bridget (Bezzie). Older siblings, Peter, Patrick, Bartholomew, Mary, and James & Malachi (twins) had immigrated earlier. Family settled in the Avon/Rochester area. Martin went to California, died in Bakersfield.
