I am trying to find out more about my husband's great grandfather.
Christopher Morgan COYNE was born between 1864 and 1870 somewhere
in Ireland. We don't know where or when he came to the U.S. In
1891 he married Celeste Frances MEYERS in Montana. They had three
children: Hazel Catherine, William Meyers, and Wanda. Hazel and
William were born in Montana. Before Wanda was born, Christopher
disappeared. Celeste moved to her parents' home in Iowa where she
gave birth to Wanda. Family legend is that Christopher worked for
a railroad in Montana. One cousin thinks that he was the paymaster
and that he met with foul play while carrying a large payroll. Does
anyone have any information on Christopher?
