Edward,there is a town in Westmeath called Mullingar....maybe this is where your Coynes are from.I'm sure,when looking up my Coynes in Roscomon that I did see Coynes mentioned in Westmeath. If this is correct,it could be lucky for you as the Coyne name is much more common in the west of Ireland. I will let you know if I see any from westmeath. Good luck.
