Hello Jamie,
Nice to hear from you!One of the best starts you can have is to get
your grandmother's birth certificate and see who her parents were and then
maybe go to your local (LDS) records office and try and trace her family
from the area and church they would have attended.
If you can find out that your family orginally came from over here
(England), I will try and help you as much as I can ( I have a database of
over 5,000 COXONs from the North-East of England).If you go to my website
and on to the section 'Useful Websites', you will find over 100 sites that I
have collected, which may be of use to fellow researchers. There is also now
a COXON Mailing List, which was just formed about 2 months ago.Here are a
