COXHEAD Brothers photographers of New Zealand

One branch of your family went to New Zealand. Three of the children Of Frederick Coxhead became photographers. I have prepared a tentative tree:

ii ELISABETH MARTHA COXHEAD b. 4 MAY 1815, bap. 4 AUG 1815, Saint Luke Old Street, Finsbury and 14 JAN 1818 Saint Leonards, Shoreditch, London, d. 24 SEP 1891.
iii WILLIAM EDWARD COXHEAD b. 28 MAR 1816, bap. 14 JAN 1818, Saint Leonards, Shoreditch, London.
iv CHARLES SAMUEL COXHEAD b. 6 DEC 1818, bap. 29 JAN 1819, Saint Leonards, Shoreditch, London.

The link contains a lot of info on the American branches.

Frank was the most prominent photographer who took many landscapes in NZ as well as operating portrait studios. He emigrated to the USA in the 1890s. With his brothers Harry and William they operated as Coxhead Brothers. Between them they operated studios in Dunedin, Timaru, Oamaru and Invercargill.
