MONCRIEF, MRS. EMMIE R. COX, age 91, of Birmingham, AL, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving daughter, Shirley M. Fisher Ivy; a devoted and loving son, Robert C. Moncrief Sr.; a loving and devoted daughterin-law, Marcella, of Enterprise, AL; nine grandchildren: Regina, Pearlie, Thedora Denise (Ron), Theodis Jr. (Pamela), Joseph Carl, Yasma Lynn, Leo Jr., Robert C. Jr. and Crystal Rebecca; three nephews: Edward C. Jones Sr. (Nell Jo) of Birmingham, George Dewey Cox Jr. (Barbara) of Chicago, IL, Donald Lewis Cox (Everlina) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one niece, Betty Cox Toson of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters-in-law: Bessie M. Malone of Birmingham, and Eunice Moncrief of Johnson City, TN; four greatgrandchildren; four great-nieces; five greatnephews; other nieces and nephews; a loving and devoted friend, Mrs. Carrie L. Nunley of Birmingham; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 30, 1999, 1:00 p.m., at Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church. Burial at New Grace Hill. Poole Funeral Chapel directing.
