I too am doing research on the Cox family.
My grandmother was Bettie Sarah Cox, daughter of Howell Cox and Elizabeth Holland, married in 1880 in St. Clair Co, Missouri. Where did they come from and where did they go? I have a missouri death certif for Howell died in 1886, Death certificate from Bettie Sarah, and her mother Elizabeth Holland Cox. The Cox family must have used other names?????
