I am looking for information on a P.B. Cox family found in the 1920 Texas Census for Mills County. His mother, Sarah Cox, age 83 and born in Virginia, is listed as living with the family. The census states that P. B. is 43 and born in IL. His wife, Maggie, is 32 and born in Alabama. Seven children were born in Texas: Sidney—20, John—19, Iva—18, Ozie—15, Violet—11, Otis—4, and Constance--1. I am trying to determine if his mother, Sarah Cox, is also the mother of my husband’s great-grandfather, William Jasper Cox.
