i too am researching the Cox family. Don't have much information as yet. am looking for Ida Cox bn 1896 in Illinois death & Parents unknown. what i do know is she married George Green = 1885 Pike Co. Missouri they are in the 1900 Lincoln Co. census. md 15 yrs - 6 children.
have marriage license, her father was present and gave his consent. doesn't give his name. have looked in Pike co. MO but without a first name ? and no 1890 census ? can't locate family as yet.
Ida Cox Green married a Theodore Dowell, after George Green. and has 2 children. have that info. if i can be of any help ? and do you happen to know a Ida Cox that was born in Il. and lived in the St. Louis Missouri area ?
am hoping to find family. thank you
